FMMM (Four Minute Money Maker) Get Out of Your Own Way!
Hello Legends! 👋
One conversation can change your business forever.
Not because someone gives you a magic bullet.
Because they help you see what you couldn't see before.
One of our Business Gym members recently shared a story that perfectly demonstrates this.
When we first met, he was working 16-hour days.
He was exhausted.
Everything depended on him.
He believed the answer was to work harder.
Instead, we showed him a different way to think.
Within a few months:
• Tripled his revenue.
• Filled his sales pipeline for the next 12 months.
• Grew from a one-person business to a team of five.
• Went from chasing customers to receiving referrals.
• Finished work by 4pm most days.
• Got his weekends back.
• Planned six weeks off for the birth of his second child.
• Added 5kg of muscle by getting back into daily fitness.
• Started learning bass guitar.
• Most importantly... he got his life back.
What changed?
Not his industry.
Not the economy.
Not his product.
His thinking.
One sentence from him really stood out:
"I realised I had been stuck in my own mindset."
That is where nearly every business owner gets trapped.
You don't know what you don't know.
Every level of business requires a new level of thinking.
If your current thinking could get you to where you want to be...
...you would already be there.
Instead, many business owners stay inside their comfort zone because it's familiar.
The irony?
Their comfort zone is often miserable.
They're stressed.
Overworked.
Time-poor.
Missing family moments.
Yet because it's familiar, they stay there.
Growth only starts when you step outside that comfort zone.
Another huge breakthrough for this client was simplifying everything.
Like many business owners, he had been overcomplicating every decision.
His words were:
"It was actually much simpler than I thought."
Business success usually isn't about adding more.
It's about removing what doesn't matter.
Simplify.
Focus.
Execute.
Repeat.
He also stopped trying to do everything himself.
Instead of trying to be the technician, salesperson, project manager and CEO...
...he built systems.
He built a team.
He focused on relationships instead of tasks.
That's when the business really started to scale.
One of my favourite comments from him was this:
"The biggest return wasn't the money. It was getting my health back, getting my family back and enjoying the journey again."
That is what real success looks like.
Revenue is important.
Profit matters.
But what's the point if your business steals your health, your relationships and your freedom?
Remember...
Every successful business owner has coaches.
Every successful athlete has coaches.
The fastest way to grow is to borrow someone else's experience instead of learning every lesson the hard way.
You could be just one decision away from changing your business—and your life.
This week's challenge:
Ask yourself three questions:
• Where am I making business harder than it needs to be?
• What don't I know that could completely change my results?
• What's one action I've been avoiding because it's outside my comfort zone?
Then stop overthinking.
Take action.
Because sometimes the biggest thing standing between you and the business you want...
...is you.
Have an awesome week!
