FFMM: Show Me Your Database and I’ll Show You How to Grow

September 24, 2026•3 min read

Most businesses don’t need more leads.

They need to do a better job with the leads and customers they already have.

I was working with a business recently that had around 4,000 people sitting in its database.

Warm people.

People who already knew the brand.

People who had bought before.

People who already knew, liked and trusted them.

My question was simple:

“How many of them are you proactively calling every day?”

Answer:

None.

There was potentially a fortune sitting inside the database doing absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile, like most businesses, it would be very easy to start thinking:

Facebook ads.

Google ads.

Radio.

Another campaign.

Another shiny marketing idea.

STOP.

Before you spend another dollar buying attention from strangers, start talking to the people who already know you.

THE DAILY MONEY-MAKING SYSTEM

Pick a number.

10 calls.

20 calls.

Whatever you can sustainably execute.

Then do them every single working day.

If they answer, have a conversation.

If they don’t:

Leave a voicemail.

Send a text.

Send an email.

Follow up again.

And again.

And again.

Relentless follow-up wins.

We recently helped a much larger company take their sales team back to these basics.

Calls.

Voicemails.

Texts.

WhatsApp.

LinkedIn.

Multiple touchpoints.

Relentless follow-up.

They generated 13 new accounts worth approximately £2 million.

Nothing magical.

Just world-class execution of boring basics.

ADD THE DRIPPING TAP

Now combine your calls with one short value-adding email every week.

Make it:

90% value.

10% promotion.

Teach something useful.

Answer a common question.

Solve a problem.

Share a tip.

Then add a simple P.S.

“By the way, we’ve just received…”

“We have three of these left…”

“We’ve just launched…”

“We have two appointments available…”

That email becomes a dripping tap.

Week after week.

Value.

Value.

Value.

Offer.

Eventually when they need what you sell, who do you think they remember?

You.

MEASURE EVERYTHING

When somebody calls:

How did you hear about us?

When somebody walks in:

How did you find us?

When somebody buys:

What brought you here?

Track it.

Because:

If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it.

Find what works.

Do more of it.

Then do it better.

That is one of the simplest growth strategies in business.

MAKE THE PROCESS THE EXPERT

Don't rely on your best salesperson remembering everything.

Build the process.

Call script.

Voicemail.

Text template.

Email template.

Follow-up system.

Inbound checklist.

Sales scoreboard.

Review request.

Now you don’t need superstars.

You have a superstar system.

People can come and go.

The process stays.

AND HERE’S THE BIG LESSON

Most business owners do not need to be taught another 100 strategies.

They need to consistently execute the five strategies they already know work.

Business is often too simple.

That’s why people ignore the basics and chase something more exciting.

Don’t.

Give one proven strategy 30 days of relentless execution before chasing another one.

Because the business that is 10X bigger than yours probably hasn't discovered 10X more secrets.

It has simply solved more problems and executed the fundamentals for longer.

There is no magic formula.

The magic is consistency.

So here’s your challenge:

Tomorrow morning, open your database.

Pick 10 people.

Call them.

Then do it again the next day.

And the next.

Show me your database…

and I’ll show you how to grow.

P.S. If you haven't signed up for Rapid Reset Program 2.0, DM me now to apply. Seats are limited and are running out. Doors close 21st of this month.
